FIFA has announced the 11-man shortlist for the 2024 FIFA Men's Player of the Year. Messi, who has won the honor eight times, has been selected, and Vinicius and Rodri will compete again. In this year's Ballon d'Or selection, Vinicius and Rodri faced off, and Rodri won the championship with a slight advantage in votes. In the FIFA annual selection, Vinicius and Rodri will still be the two biggest favorites, and will once again compete for the top individual honors in world football.
