None of the four Premier League Champions League teams won this round. Is this a hangover from the Champions League?

The 16th round of the Premier League kicked off last weekend, and surprisingly, none of the four teams that participated in the Champions League last week won this round.

Arsenal and Liverpool drew with Everton and Fulham at home respectively, while Aston Villa and Manchester City both suffered reversals in the final moments after leading, losing 1-2 to Nottingham Forest and Manchester United.

Arsenal 0-0 Everton

Liverpool 2-2 Fulham

Aston Villa 1-2 Nottingham Forest

Manchester City 1-2 Manchester United

However, the performance of these four teams in the Champions League is still remarkable. Except for Manchester City, the other three teams are currently ranked in the top eight of the Champions League standings.
