Lukas Kwasniok (43 years old) will be the new head coach of Bundesliga team Cologne in the 2025-26 season. He previously coached Paderborn (4th in the Bundesliga) and lower-level teams. After leading Cologne to win the Bundesliga title, he returned to the Bundesliga. The two sides signed a contract until 2028, aiming to start a new journey.

Quasniok, 43, has previously coached teams such as Reichenbach, Karlsruhe, Carl Zeiss Jena, Saarbrücken and Paderborn. He began coaching Paderborn in 2021 and led the team to fourth place in the Bundesliga in the 2024-25 season. Quasniok has signed a contract with Bundesliga team Cologne until June 30, 2028.
